I think Amsinger, Reynolds, and Millar have the best chemistry on MLB Tonight. Byrnes is pretty funny as the 3rd wheel too.

I like Reynolds. MLB Network as a whole is fantastic, I wish the other league specific channels were as good. Show good highlight reels, not just homers and you gotta love plays of the week.

Byrnes playing off Millar is gold, the thing that's great is it's not forced schtick like Chris "back, back, back, back" Berman.

I've seen about 10 minutes of intentional talk so I couldn't tell you about their dynamics...I just hate rose

On another note I also haven't watched 10 minutes of baseball tonight all year. Used to be auto watch and now I couldn't even tell you who's on it now that MLB net is around.

Byrnes is alright. He was on the local Sports talk radio for awhile. He sucked. Could only talk baseball (knew jack about other sports). Which is understandable considering he played baseball and that was his life. But the MLB network format is perfect for him. He's the new John Kruk (but surfer instead of redneck).

Speaking of athletes on talk radio. Tom Tolbert (ex-nba'er and sometimes TNT commentator) is THE BEST sportstalk radio guy. That dude is a TRUE sports fan. He can talk up any sport with plenty of knowledge to back it up. He also talks about plays he's making (at Tahoe and Reno, wink, wink). The dude really knows his college FB.

But this thread is more about how the MLB network rocks. It's on in my house all the time thanks to my baseball loving teenage kid (plays on the HS team). And if I didn't hate baseball so much, I would actually like watching it. If you like baseball, the MLB network is the shee-it.

espn is almost unwatchable these days. Its all about these egotistical anchors thinking theyre hilarious. Then, every other hour its skip bayless and some woman debating some nba topic that the majority of people dont give an eff about. MLB Network is the only way i watch highlights now

We get it Mark, all of us tuned in know more baseball then you give us credit for, give it a rest.

MLBtv with their live look ins, with the analysis of the look in in real time is like light years better than what ESPN can even dream about.

Like last night, when Braun and Fielder were up late in the game, they first gave us the live look in, then Fielder got that opposite field broken bat single, the crew broke it down that single to us, knowing full well the audience watching are more than casual fans, so they didn't dumb it down, broke down the pitch, (a good one) the single, (most batters would have grounded out)...................
