they were talking about that last week when they heard the report and there were so many unanswered questions. Never a good sign when a team doesnt even try to put a positive spin on a story and just give generic blank answers to easy to answer questions.

if he doesnt play he might as well retire and get a coaching job somewhere. Take a year off come back with a fear of getting paralyzed by any hit, might as well just fade away and leave with some sort of legacy like Barry Sanders did. But barry just left, no known reason why.

He's pretty much done for this year but he'll be back! Alot of haters on here but I'd like to see any QB (including Brady) make the playoffs year after year while his team gets beat in the trenches every year (running the ball/stopping the run). The Colts might ride the "us against the world" for a while but 6-7 wins is about it!

Dead wrong. The recovery from the initial surgery was expected to be 6-8 weeks.

The Colts have a Week 11 bye week....if they could go atleast 5-5 then maybe Peyton could be back for Nov. 27 versus Carolina? Thats about 2 1/2 months away.

um no 3rd surgery now makes it 3+ months minimum. Even if he could back they will be out of the playoff picture and he will just sit out the rest of the year.

Its quite apparent that nobody here has had a neck injury. Understandably alot more fragile, complicative and longer re-cuperation time than most other injuries. No way he will be back anytime this season
