Once people realize the weather will be nice and 2 of the best QB's in football are playing the Total will start to climb...

I'll say 47.5-49.5 sounds about right...

      I wouldn't touch the total.

Defenses are ahead of offenses to start the year. Crosby isn't the greatest with kickoffs, but that rule will also contribute to less scoring. At the same time, both of these teams have a lot of continuity with their schemes, offensive personnel, and elite QBs. The total is a coin flip.

As for the side, it should be at -3, but it's inflated a bit b/c GB won the SB and SB winners usually cover week 1.

wait until it climbs, people get itchy with first game and the names on these offenses, then hit the under. i think we're going to see some rust and timing issues on offense. personally, very small action on under.

Yep, I'm going to be on the Under but want to see it climb another point or so before I jump on.

One team will struggle. Don't know which one, but I see a 24-10 type game.

here's my take on the game. both teams struggled last year with their running games yet still showed a commitment to at least try to be balanced. its obvious a bigger commitment will be given this year considering the improvements in that area. when you factor in its the 1st game of the season and both know how much this could impact on home advantage later, the solid defenses, I think it will be conservative enough early to hit the under. I honestly think at 47 the books have already catered for expected over play, it did drop to 46 some weeks ago so I say it stays there.
