SBR Pro renewal policy change

As Bill posted today, we have modified our SBR Pro renewal policy to accommodate more posters.

A. If you allow your Pro subscription to lapse, you may still become Pro with your last sportsbook IF that sportsbook is still a sponsor of the Pro program.

B. If you renew your subscription prior to it lapsing, you can become Pro with your last sportsbook whether or not they are still listed as sponsors of the Pro program.

The policy change IS retroactive. Just send me a PM if you qualify.

Not quite for all........ I was a YouWager renewer, but waited until 2 weeks after the Pro expiration without understanding the ramification. Ignorance of the rule is my fault. But I would not have re-upped with YouWager if it would not have made me a pro.

So, I guess I'm the loser on this one.

how can someone complain too greatly about depositing $200 to youwager (and probably getting a 30% free play)?
how hard is it to just bet 200 on one mlb side at youwager and 200 on the other side at your favorite book? keep doing that until you zero out the youwager side or cash out (they give a free withdrawal anyway)...

Because I have accounts at every other book but Interops, and I am not using them. I tried to comply with the rules, but I missed the deadline by two weeks. So, I guess I'm out. I also use Heritage. But that doesn't work either. I've opened account at several books through SBR. But that isn't good enough. So, I'm out. It sucks, because I have been a proud member for three years, and I have never tried to be a freeloader like others who complain the most here. I'm done complaining. I appealed to SBR John and Lou, and was denied. Nothing more to see here.

seems like guys like us that have been around for years keep getting squeezed by sbr while newbies get benefits they haven't come close to earning.

my point was that youwager is pretty awesome though, that deposit gets you into the free nfl handicapping contest which is worth quite a bit (not a lot of players and $15k prizes).

my point was that youwager is pretty awesome though, that deposit gets you into the free nfl handicapping contest which is worth quite a bit (not a lot of players and $15k prizes).

Not saying it was a total waste to re-up with YouWager -- they do have some decent perks. But I would have went elsewhere if I would have understood the rule. I blew it, and SBR is showing me no mercy, unless I fork over another $200. Maybe later in the season, but I have already funded a couple of books for over $1000. I don't need any more tied up offshore, especially in this climate.

i used to bet so much at youwager, they were sending me harry&david gift baskets all the time.
nice to open the front door and see a 5ft high tower of like 12 wrapped boxes of food to open!

they are a real class organization, not too many other places sent me stuff like that out of the blue.

Reapplied for pro status with 5 Dimes. Signed up originally with 5 Dimes through SBR.

Will this get me back to pro?

Carseller you need to send a pm to Lou about this. I think it should be. This is why I have waited to sign on with them is because of this. I am considering signing on with 5Dimes but I am not signing up with them until my pro status is up then I will highly consider it. I have heard plenty of good things about 5Dimes. Since Bet Jam went out of business I sure would like to go there and be able to keep my pro status with them for years ahead if they are good without a doubt.
