2 main reasons:
Mettenberger is a better QB than Jefferson (lacks the experience)
LSU defense

Lsu doesn't need JJ or RS, they will win with defense alone. Lsu covers big here.

The line is -2 for a reason. To entice square money. How can a team -2 won't win the game by 3 points? It's so fukkin easy. I'm going to buy me an ipad after I cash this easy bet. Right?

Lol jefferson isn't really a game changer. Oregon probably wants him to play.

Because people remember what happened the last 2 times Oregon faced a physical defense.. Ohio St in the Rose Bowl and Auburn in the Championship game..

Les miles catches a ton of flak but he's something like 10-2 ATS in the first game of the year and bowl games at LSU.
You know, games coming after long layoffs when "bad coaches" would seemingly be at a huge disadvantage.
Leslie Miles is a very good coach - just has horrible clock management skillz.

Sorry. Still can't take Michigan State seriously when it comes to football. Did you see what Alabama did to them? Made them look like Alcorn State.
Yes, Alabama would beat every Big 10 team probably, but at least teams like OSU, Wisconsin, and Penn State would make it respectable.

And you are just proving my point that OSU is going to finish in the middle in the Big 10 this year by bringing up Michigan State... Even the odds in vegas have OSU finishing somewhere in the 4-6 range.

Honestly, PSU is a little underrated. They were the youngest team in the Big 10 last year and had a lot of injuries.
I'll agree their QB issues are troubling, but if they get some decent QB play, I see them going 10-2 or so. I doubt they'll be strong enough to beat Alabama early though.

everyone is sleeping on Ohio St because of no pryor and the scandal... they get Wisconsin at home this year.

Yes, the overrated conference that is around .500 against SEC over the last decade.
In fact, if you take out OSU's pathetic choke jobs to the SEC, the Big 10 is well above .500 against the SEC...

OSU going to get ass raped by Nebraska on the road. I would think they also lose another game they shouldn't on the road, and maybe one home game.
9-3 best case.
Still it is comical when the SEC morons come on here touting how much better the SEC is. OSU has lost big games to the SEC in the past and that is the ONLY reason this perception exists. the rest of the Big ten has DONE VERY WELL against the SEC.
