          It's free if you join Directv as a new customer. If you had it last year then just call them and tell them you can't afford it this year and are going to have to drop it. They will offer to cut $60 off the price. Tell them you still can't afford it and they will cut $120 off the price so you get it for $204 or $34 a month for 6 months instead of $324 or $54 per month.

            Same for me. I tell them the truth that I have season tickets for the Cowboys and will not be able to watch it every Sunday.

                  Then I'd suggest you do some research into the things, causes, political contributions, and lobbying efforts that Verizon, ATT, Comcast, and Time Warner have engaged in.

                        I have a friend that had it last year. They told them they were unemployed, and Direct TV let them have it for free this year after they told them they couldn't afford it.
