It's human nature to like the favorites.. Obviously knowing which side to bet is the skill part but in general, I like to play with grabbing the points playing dogs, especially when I truely feel the dog has a chance to win straigth up and it's a live one..

I've been betting a lot of Favorites lately in MLB but I was betting a lot of Dogs earlier in the season. So for me... I guess it's whatever I think is profitable.

In college football I was told to be careful about playing the under in games that should be competitive because of the overtime rules. Makes some sense.
