Last 3-4 days have kindof been a continuous haze but rememberable highlights:
25+ hours in hammock
Took old man who hooked me up with I coconut a couple days ago a poweraid and talked to him about an hour.
Watching local football matches (at a awesome field cut out of the jungle) and Brazil / Mexico match on static filled tv with hotel owners
Chatting up a 70 year Canadian beach hobo for about an hour... Had a couple Johnny Cash songs sung to me and talked about the inefficiency of Canadian's*pension system, historical relations between Canadian and US (pre- and post-colonial period), and snooker... Also got told a story in a pirate voice...Comment -
Herbiie...You sound like a guy I'd like to date.
Much better than the squares who enjoy just sitting in a hotel and don't like to live life....Seems like you're doing this on the cheap which is just awesome. You probably spend less in 10 days than some will spend in 2 days (hotel/food)Comment
