Your new membership starts from the day you were due to expire. So if you renewed the first day you got the 30 day in advance warning, you'd be ok for another 13 months after that. But you can't renew more than 30 days before your expiry date.

The only point to be aware of is: If you don't renew within your 30 day renewal period, the option to be grandfathered in on your previous Pro book is gone so you'll need to sign up for a new option on the "Become a Pro" page.

Correct, guys 4 reminder notices are sent starting from a month out of your membership expiring. You don't "have to use a new book". You can donate to charity, make a fantasy deposit, make a line service or handicapper subscription etc. There's more than one way to skin a cat and there's more than one way to achieve SBR Pro status.

I only know of one way to skin a cat Lou. Grab him from the back legs, hit him with your fist pump behind the neck to kill him, hang him upside down using a rope from a tree and proceed to skin him with a utility sharp knife from front to back.

How do you skin your cats?

Yeah that's the thing I was saying earlier - if you used to be a Pro and let the 30 day renewal period expire then you're back to Non Pro status which = signing up for an option on the "Become a Pro" page. I know it might seem kind of sucky but there are so many reminders (3 or 4 I think) where you just have to confirm that you still have $200 in your initial Pro book that I think it's quite fair personally. They're giving you a month's notice to get 200 bucks in there. (sorry but i can't back you up on this one)

You should have like a 5 year pro renewal for a $1000 deposit, a lifetime pro membership for a $5000 deposit. I payed my lifetime membership NRA dues a few years ago and am glad I dont have to go thru the hassel of paying yearly anymore.

JMO, but rollovers on point wins for the BTP contest is ridiculous.

should be $200 in any SBR sponsored book, SBR still gets there cut...

It's just a free play at the book. It works fine with me because I can use the BTP winnings and murder the book in soccer parlays and round robins.
