#143I'm up for renewal in 30 days. I will consult with my attorneys and make a decision by the deadline. This is going to be one of the toughest decisions I have ever made in my life.Comment -

I think they said if you hold off til Valentines day, they are giving 1,000 points if you renew that week.
SO don't renew it in December, wait til February.Comment -

That's how things work right?
Numbers are low, so they offer something "special" to entice players to renew....Those players don't renew, and they "up" the offer even more?
SO everyone should hold off...Better specials will be on there way. It's a given.

#151Unforntunately this is how it works. Specials are offered to entice more people to sign up for whatever. They do not have to go back and give the special to those already signed up. Imagine if every company had to do this.
Directv offering free Sunday ticket to new subscribers. I tried calling them and asking if I could have as well since I was loyal customer. Surprisingly they said no.Comment -

#153I renewed mine the day I received the PM saying it expired in 30 days...I have no problem doing that.
I don't see why not to be a PRO.
But I don't like how John doesn't answer any questions that I asked...All I wanted to know was why us Loyal PRO's who renewed without needing any special incentives only get an automated "thanks for being a pro" PM and 100 points.
SO I'm suggesting that the people hold off and wait for a better "special" to come. Which we all know will happen.Comment -

#156don't get me wrong, i'll renew it before football season. but it won't be for anything more then i enjoy the trivia, contests, poker, etc.
so what its $200 that they make a little profit off it/me. in the past year i think it was worth it for the FREE 6 pizzas, $190 in gift cards and a $100 FP to BJ.Comment -

It makes complete sense to become a pro. We all like being on SBR, why not become a pro and let them get a little bit off of us. We still get the full 200 in our account, so it doesn't harm us at all.
But I still think everyone should hold off as now I've heard it's going to be 500 pts and an order of flowers for your sweetheart, if you renew the week before Valentines day.
Good deal there.Comment -

#165Question for ya. I already play poker at Intertops but i've only deposited twice, $20 each time (lost the 1st deposit, 2nd is what i still use to play with). It won't be for about a month yet but would SBR allow me to go pro if i made a $200 deposit on Intertops, through the account i already have? I feel comfortable depositing there and would like to do this rather than open up a new account elsewhere.Comment -

#167Instead of 250-point bonus, it would be helpful if rules are same as last year. A sportsbook account (with at least $200) made you eligible. Now, I need to open a new account since the Greek is no longer among the listed books. I already have accounts with almost all the listed books and likes of intertops are not really inviting.Comment -

This is my biggest problem as well. I would be happy to send $200+ to any of the books listed, but I have NO interest in funding Interops. Why not let us choose from a list of sponsors? I have accounts everywhere else.Comment -
