#38I think they hit 8 or 9. I also think Alphonso Smith puts his name out there as an up and coming CB, I think he'll have 7 or 8 INTs. Lions are my NFC team, so its been tough watching them for the last 15ish yearsComment -

#39Barry Sanders made me a Lions fan back then, and it is good to see them starting to get back on track.
If Stafford stays healthy, I would say 9 wins. 10 wins would be a stretch.
Their D-Line is one of the best in the league. Secondary needs to hold up though.Comment -

#45NFC North. They won 6 games last year with Stafford injured majority of the season. Shouldve been 7 wins since the TD by Calvin shouldve counted against the Bears (which the league admitted to ******* up and actually modified the rule, called prolly the Calvin Johnson rule). This year they upgraded defense and offense, think they get at least 2 more than last year. I dont think the Vikings will be a problem in the division.Comment -

#48I won $500 on the over 5 games last year on them. They should have gotten it easy, robbed in their first game against the Bears, they finished strong and won their last 4 games. I think the over 7.5 hits easy this year, see them winning anywhere from 9 to possibly 11 games. They're well coached and have momentum from last year. La Confora from the NFLN likes the Lions as a sleeper team this year as he's pretty sharp.Comment -

#50It's a tough schedule but 7.5 seems a fair total at the books, i'd lean 8-8 - i see them taking a divisional game off each team so there's 3 wins right away.Comment -

#52I like them at 6 wins, this is a team year after year that doesn't get calls and doesn't get any breaks. I'm hoping they do well if for nothing else for the City of Detroit.Comment -

Stafford doesn't need to stay healthy either. King and Stanton proved they can win as well. with a defense like lions got might only take 2 scores to win games.Comment -

#64Being from Detroit I am saying that the Lions will do extremely well this year. Games that they almost won last year will be victories for them. Green Bay is beatable and Detroit will win division. Momentum may take them into Superbowl. Last year improvement was drastic! Giving us an improvement of only half of what they did last year puts them as above. They will improve correct?Comment -

#65I'm going to go with 4-12 or 5-11.... they have a brutal schedule. Nothing against the Lions they will be a little better than last year roster wise but for the most part the opponents they will play are just better.Comment -

#66Bro they won 6 last year with Shaun Hill. Can u imagine Suh and Fairley working together? Another explosive offensive threat with Titus Young? Jahvid will be healthy. Good team at Ford Field an actually showed they can win on the road last year.Comment -

#68That schedule looks tough.
I don't know about starting 5-1...
I would think the first 5 games will all be +-3 on a neutral field...All of them should be good games.
Hopefully Lions pull out some nice W's this year....love em.
Have a much better idea on how they'll do after their first game.Comment -

#70Stafford is a great base- even if the record is subpar, I like that base
Which one's don't I like? Some can go either way. 1. Chicago at home is a tough one 2. Don't like Green Bay at home. 3. At Denver is tough (altitude and the Tebow factor). 4. Raiders away is tough (McFadden's got skills). ----Not saying these can't win. Lot's of the season can go either way. I don't like Detroit over Green Bay at Detroit. Green Bay is full of talent and confidence.Comment
