SBR Poker feedback thread

I'm not sure if it's my connection or there are to many people on the poker software, but this is causing me a couple of disconnection.

Just a few comments from my limited play:

1) The software runs much smoother.
2) I have had no disconnects so far on a Windows 7 environment vs. the 10+ i used to have with the old software
3) When on the waiting list once a seat becomes available you have to actually click on the Seat Open button. Why can't it just sit you automatically?
4) Is there any chance in the future we can have the option for an Auto-Top up and Remember Buy In amount for this table feature?
5) I think the cashier should take 2 steps:
a) Show you the amount of poker funds available in the software
b) Require a warning that you are transferring funds from the SBR forums to SBR poker software. When you go to buy in right now and you don't have a poker bonus balance it takes it directly out of the SBR forum wallet.[/color]

3. That's a good suggestion, it's something I've added to our poker wish-list.

5. Well, the way it works is the cashier shows 1. forum balance, 2. poker points balance. If there is no poker points balance, it should be clear to the end-user that his forum balance is going to be debited. If there were a poker points balance to choose from, he or she could select the tab 'Bonus Points' when sitting/buying into a game.

i have had no problems the last couple days. fast and smooth. and i got a bunch of pocket pairs. and a bad beat shirt and a sbr fitted hat. overall quite pleased. now set it up so i win the points tourney tomorrow. thanks in advance

A couple more points:

A) Can we get the software to indicate pot size?
B) Can it show how much rake is taken out of each pot (put it beside the dealer like other platforms or something)
C) Would it be possible to get the software to include a bet slider?

I'm not sure if I'm right but it seems that when you leave a table (at least when you play with bonus points), the decimals are not counted toward your bankroll. I was just playing and got something like XX,20. after leaving the table and taking a look at my total points, the amount wasn't showing any decimals.

another thing. when you take a look at http://www.sbrforum.com/poker ; it says cards flip in: 3 HOURS 92 MIN 72 SEC that's certainly wrong

Being able to scroll over your player icon and have it show your cards after you already folded would be a good addition. In fact, I think SBR poker is the only poker room I have played that doesn't have that feature.

FWIW...only got disconected once...and that was when i was moved to another table...

Based on the fact that I won the 4pm, I'd say the software is working perfectly. Seriously though, no disconnects or other issues for me.

I did notice the points for winning took 3-5 minutes to show up. They used to be instantaneous, so you may want to say something about this slight delay in the tourney threads since people won't be expecting it.

We're working on a way to automate these so that as soon as someone is eliminated, the poker points showup in their bonus balance.

Another thing that is annoying is that when you sit down at a table autopost blinds is automatically checked. Can we have an option to disable that? I like dead money as much as the next person just not when i do it!

It's one of those 50/50's. Half will want it auto-checked so as to not wait for the orbit to complete or have to click it manually, and the others will want it unchecked so they can decide when to sit in.

It'd be useful if it saved a user's preference. We'll explore.

Bonus point rollover works really smooth in the cashier and is fairly easy to clear. Granted, I only had 75 points from today, but cleared 45 or so in about 20 minutes of NL100.

This is really annoying and needs fixed.

I don't know how many people want to post and how many don't, but the way normal poker rooms handle it is simply ask on the first hand "do you want to post up or wait for the big blind?" I've played at about 7 different sites over the years and I've never heard of a site autoposting out of position by default.

from my limited travels the last two nights, it sure looks like the 100nl tables killed the 200nl tables.

also, 1 full table + 1 short table with 3 players doesn't seem like an increase in traffic.

i know the tourneys (with the 3x rollover) haven't started in full yet, but it sure seems like the people that would be playing anyway are going to win a majority of the tournies..

either way, cool to be playing with someone else's money again. bookmaker and bodog drunk at 2am aren't a really good idea.

i know this is mostly a "how is it" thread as opposed to a "what do we need" thread but you guys should have an option to hover the mouse over ourselves so we can see what we just folded.

also i would like to see a button to bet the pot.

I had no problems in torunament play, however i still have the issue of crediting back from cash tables.
I played last nigth posting 70 points and cashing out 84 ( i think), and nothing till now is credited to my account.
That is the same issue we had before, it takes a long time ( some times ) to get the credit back.
