US is bankrupt. Europe too. Too many people have been living above their means for too long, financing that lifestyle with debt. Tough years ahead for the world. Politicians are trying to postpone the inevitable. They should have let the bubble burst in 2007 or 2008. Then we would be well on our way in the rebuilding process now.
