dude, first you come and ask for suggestions. then after some people, including myself, recommend sandro + horodecki, you take our advice but say "i hope you guys know mma". this tells me if you lost the bet, you'd be back here blaming everyone except yourself. so when you ended up winning the bet, at the very least you should have given some thanks to the people that helped you win some money and have a good time.Comment -

#40I'd love to go see belllator live. They have some very good quality cards but they always seem to be hosting them at obscure locations.Comment -

#44Mann should have known he was down on the scorecards and should have tried to take more risks in the third round, but otherwise he fought fine.Originally posted by biggie12Sport isn't garbage the venue was though.

Getting ko'd definitely puts mileage on your body and is going to shorten the career. Fine line between fighting too reckless and taking unessesary damage hurting your career and not bringing it and putting on a show and thus hurthing your career as well.Comment -

#46Ha... if I had to guess, I'd say no one likes being ko'd.

#49I was lucky to have Curran save my night. I went down a bit w/ Naz and Saunders, but luckily only had small plays on them. Mann actually fought a decent fight, but didn't turn it up in the 3rd like he should have. Curran just keeps on winning... but I'm not so sure he'll have the same luck against Sandro. Really anticipating the lines on that one.Comment -

#51Tough call for me. I like Sandro to win... only because he is more active and throws the higher volume of strikes.Originally posted by bjpenn85Yeah, who do you think would win and where do you set the line?
I think this goes to a decision 4/5 times also and that is what could make it hard to pull the trigger on Sandro. Curran seems
to have the judges eating out of the palm of his hands when it comes to the word "win". Also, you have to take into consideration
that Curran is a big Featherweight and if Pat decides to take this to the ground he may very well get it there where he can stall
and win the round or just win on takedowns alone. But lately he's looked very confident in his boxing and very technical, picking
his shots and landing. I'm just not so sure that gameplan works against Sandro. Guessing on the lines...
I'll roll with
-115 Sandro
-105 Curran
So virtually even. This could look a lot like Frankie v. Gray II with more BJJ and less wrestling. I know a lot of guys are thinking Curran has this and I'd love to hear more opinions - I can be swayed here.Comment -

I think the whole fight will play out on the feet. Sandro's bjj pedigree should be enough to deter Curran from winding up in his guard. And, both men have seemed very content to strike for three rounds in the past.Comment -

"Sandro's bjj pedigree" is like Aldo's bjj pedigree - you hear about it but never see any evidence in an actual fight. If Sandro has proven anything, its that his striking is top notch and his best route to victory. Curran's edge will be his wrestling. If he's smart he will try to take Sandro down and try to keep him there. I think Curran pulls it off due to the size advantage.Comment
