    It's part of the game. They knew it when they started playing. Just looking to make money because they're greedy or broke.

    I'm mixed on this. Is it expected that employees become experts (or become informed through other experts) in every danger inherent at their workplace? On the flip side, most reasonable people would figure the players gave an informed consent the second they stepped on the field. As in many things the real winners are the legal teams who want nothing more than billable hours. Getting to the point you need your kid to sign a waiver to throw the ball around...

      Sure, every player going into the league is aware of the risks, but if what I read is accurate, the fact that the NFL commissioned a study that said there was no evidence of long-term damage from concussions, that sounds like it's 180 degrees from what we know now.
