Doesn't this just figure. Look at the numbers below. They are staggering. We're not talking about a small amount here used for possession.

NEW YORK -- An assistant high school girls basketball coach whose son plays for the defending national champion North Carolina Tar Heels was among three people arrested Thursday on charges they participated in a multimillion-dollar cocaine distribution network, state police said.
Daniel R. Green, 39, of North Babylon, who has worked as a teacher in the North Babylon School District and helped coach the girls' basketball team, was expected to be arraigned Friday on charges related to the drug scheme, said a spokeswoman for Suffolk County District Attorney Thomas Spota.
Green is the father of North Carolina freshman Danny Green, a McDonald's All-American who was player of the year in Nassau County in 2005 for St. Mary's High School in Manhasset.
Also charged were Norman Goode, 38, of Holtsville, who is a correction officer with the Suffolk County sheriff's department, and Billy Green, 43, of Wheatley Heights, who is not believed to be related to Daniel Green, said Spota's spokesman, Robert Clifford.
All three were in custody Thursday. A fourth man was being sought.
Goode was charged with conspiracy; Daniel Green was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, conspiracy, possession of marijuana and criminal possession of drug paraphernalia. Billy Green was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, conspiracy and criminal possession of a weapon.
State police executing search warrants Thursday morning seized 462 pounds of cocaine, which they said had a street value of $40 million, approximately $5 million in cash, six handguns, three semiautomatic assault rifles, 3 ounces of crack cocaine and 1 pound of marijuana.
Also seized were eight homes and 10 vehicles.
State police said an investigation in the Albany area in 2005 revealed that Goode was delivering pounds of cocaine to several people in Troy.
Police did not specifically say how Daniel Green or Billy Green were involved, other than to say they were "attempting to negotiate the delivery of a significant quantity of cocaine from Mexico" that was destined for Suffolk County.
The North Babylon School District said Daniel Green is not currently an employee but worked as a per diem substitute teacher, most recently in the 2002-03 school year. It said he was an assistant girls' varsity basketball coach, but that job ended when the season concluded three weeks ago. It added he is "not a candidate for any future positions."
