ehhh, i wouldn't call it a slap on the head. more like a pat on the head. i don't know the back story but i heard in there something to the affect of them "making up" most of the game. have you never seen someone pat someone on the back of the head?

My friends favorite quote about soccer: "playing for the tie!". While I can not disagree with this assessment of the game, I can applaud the fact that scoring a goal is a meaningful event. It takes either great play as a team or an amazing individual effort.
While all sports have their pros and cons, football/soccer is the purest team sport in the world.

The advertising is in the background JJ. They put it behind the lines. NFL doesn't have the advertising in the stadium behind the lines but they interrupt the game on TV every 2 minutes which makes it bad for the viewers. MLB has advertising behind the plates for the viewers and no one is complaining.

That's a good call by the officials. You can't slap a guy in the back of the head like that. In baseball slapping an opponent can also get you ejected, it is at the discretion of the umpire(s).
