Definitely do not bet then if you know nothing about the game or teams. Using other peoples' bets will make you go broke the quickest and most painful way.

i'm well aware of the difference between making +ev and -ev bets and if i make a bet on this game it will probably be a -ev bet but it makes the game more enjoyable to watch, so i'm perfectly fine with that.
Will only put down half or third a unit not more.

Not only are they slow to put up lines. Wait until you win a significant amount. They will find a way to make it awfully difficult to pay you your money, if at all.
