I was just telling my wife how I have finally come to peace with the fact that, at 40 years of age, I am now a true internet chit-chat room nerd. This is the last place on earth I ever thought I'd wind up. SBR is literally the first forum OF ANY KIND that I have ever even visited, much less contributed.

I know we all take shots at one another....and rejoice whenever a fellow poster is outed as a resident of his mother's basement....but the reality is 99% of the guys here are good, solid sports fans/gamblers. These 2 things have been my passion literally my entire life, so I've thoroughly enjoyed finding a group who shares my interests.

Since joining our beloved chit-chat room, I have briefly looked around at other sites of similar origin. In this posters humble opinion, there is simply nothing else out there even close to what we have going on here, boys. I think SBR does a great job of allowing just the right mix of satire along with the sports gambling topics. At the end of the day, I can always find something in Players Talk to make me "laugh out loud"....as the kids say. From what I've seen in my brief forays onto rival sites....this is simply not the case. We're in the Big Leagues here, boys. Our beloved chat room is the bar that all others are straining to reach....only it keeps getting inched higher.

So thanks again for the kind words, fellas. But I'll be the first to say..... I take just as much from SBR, and all of my fellow chit-chatters, as I'll ever give.
