My first name is in my username. Other people have freely let their first name be known ie Sinner comes to mind.

You will not be restricted in those cases. But if you post personal info about a poster who has not given permission for their info to be made public (which means you either got it from snooping or they trusted someone - right or wrong - with that info in the first place), you will indeed be restricted from posting. There were a few threads recently where the lynch mob got completely out of control and that's completely unacceptable.
