i did not know 2 of vancouver's top players were twins
    henrik sedin, danny sedin

Born Sep 26, 1980 in Ornskoldsvik, Sweden

they were both hockey studs from a young age.

Drafted 1999: 1st Rnd, 2nd overall and 3rd overall by VAN.

i bet they just have to look at each other and they immediately know what the other is thinking and what move they are going to do.

interesting. any other examples like this in professional team sports today?

So when you watched Vancouver games, did you just think that one guy was all over the ice? He starts the break out and he scores! Hell of a player....

There is probably a few others, the but most high profile twins playing together I can think of are Brazilian's Rafael + Fabio who are both playing for Manchester Utd. Admittedly, they dont often both get into the team at the same time, and cant really be considered 2 of the teams best players, but still.

Zeta, your probably too young for this, but there were 6 Sutter brothers playing at one time a few years back. Not great players, but decent.

After Fabio was sent off and subsequently suspended for the next game, Alex Ferguson joked in a press conference that he might play Fabio anyway and just stick a Rafael shirt on him as nobody would know the difference

When two people are born on the same date from the same mother they are usually twins. Sometimes they can have different birthdays if one was born at 11:50 pm and the other was born at 12:10 am of the next day.

Zeta just doesn't follow hockey. I'm sure it's nothing more than him watching the SC Finals and noticing.
