You are in exactly the same boat as me. I had Cubs yesterday too and recently there has been quite a few shit team melt downs; usually when I'm on the Pirates or the Mets (or Cubs or Nats).

I am seriously contemplating playing half on FF and half on FG for a bit to see how it goes. I swear that would be doing OK, but haven't looked back and done the math yet.
