Food from 7-11 doesn't count as Indian food. Real Indian food is rather tasty. I don't know what you had, based on your description. You pretty much described a men's toilet in a bar at 4am.

I went to a place for lunch with co workers the other day, have to say i am glad it was on the company cause i wouldn't have wanted to pay for it. The chicken dish i had tasted like chicken neck or something, definitely not white meat. It must be an acquired taste.

Good Indian food is fantastic. Bad Indian food sucks. There is little middle ground in my experience.

I eat it sometimes.. I am a vegan so Indian have a lot of options for me. Just have to be careful with the cream they use... I enjoy it though.

I love Indian food. Probably because I like spicy food and I like curry. But curry dishes aren't the only ones on the menu.

Try going to a real Indian restaurant that doesn't have just the buffet. One of my favorites is the Aloo Tikki Wrap. It has lettuce and fried potato balls and some kind of sauce.

Try the more popular dishes like Tandoori Chicken or Butter Chicken. There are deep-fried pastries that are good if you can find some good chutneys. My favorite dipping sauce is Tamarind Sauce which is sweet.

My favorite side dish is Garlic Naan. It's the fried bread with garlic.

Try the Mango Lassi for a drink. It's made of mangos in yogurt.

I have indian food probably once every 2-3 years...i just get non-spicy lamb curry and nibble on the funny tasting chips/bread shit they give you...it's odd, resturant is called "Tandor" and has a variety of strange pictures on the wall, in cluding one of an indian man and woman making love under a tree which i always find amusing.
