Predicting Sports is too easy these days

seems like these days all you need is a pulse to be a winner

Actually for some reason I seem to lose more betting straight wagers, than par 2's because you have to risk more just to get the amount that will satisfied you. I put up at least 3 par 2's a day, all for the same amount around $50 to $150. Hit only one and you'll still profit. I'll usually go 1-3, 2-3, and on certain days 3-3. Parlay works well for me.

Point well taken and agreed that 2 teamers are a good alternative if your betting spread not ml but i am talking greedy.... I know probably 10 guys who bet nightly and on average am guessing they play a $35- $50 3 or 4 teamer, they are afraid to risk big money but want to win big and as a result they just always lose small money which adds up very quickly, I mean they will sometimes go a week before they hit something and just for those ten ppl bm is makin 3500 a week

Yeah you right about that, you can not consistently hit Par 3's, everyday. Usually my Par 3 or higher are little bets, bets that I don't expect to win, so I just pick loosely and hope it connects. Par 2's on the other hand, are picks that I invested more research into before betting it.

If this continues some big books are going to close.

JJ or anyone else explain something to me. All the so called Sharps fade the public usually. Sharps bet a lot of Dogs and Moneylines. Sharps are the ones that have big balances that can hurt a book. So with all the Favorites and Overs covering you would think JOE SMOE who is betting 50 a game is killing the books not heavy hitters. So I don't understand why the books would be in trouble??

The books are not in trouble and never will be just because some people you all know win doesn't mean the average bettor does, not to mention that half the online books make there real money by pulling you in to bet sports and then letting you lose it all in their casino after you win the game

Sharps don't fade the public, many times the sharps and public on the same side, no sharp gambler was on Phoenix, Atlanta or Denver. Most went 6-0 on those games.

there isn't a specific play for a sharp

                            it's not like that

1 of those 3 was a definite public play (Phoenix) with a small sharp contingent. I think sharps and non-sharps were on L.A. and Boston last night. And I think you could say there was a split among Detroit/Philly sharps with the public splitting 70/30 or so on Detroit.

Books aren't in trouble at all.

But in general, you could say that MOST sharp action is on a certain side most of the time. However, in cases like the Detroit/Philly game, I certainly agree with you.
