I was in section 9 for that game. There were 4 USC dbag fans in front of us, who wouldn't shut up about their back to back national championships for 59 minutes. After the clock hit 0:00 on Leinart's fumble, I grabbed the USC fan in front of me and started shaking him violently.

Then we lost.
F-ck.
I was in shock for a month. No USC fan talked shit to me after that game, both sides were drained.

As a Steeler fan, I love it. Outside of that, it will go down as one of the best catches ever, but not the best game ever (and it was in '72, not a Superbowl). If you're trying to be funny and act like someone else had a rip off of the Steelers glory...Good luck.

No I was saying the 1972 AFC playoff game was a great one and so was SuperBowl 34.

There usually isn't any trash talking after games at ND.
Notre Dame fans are way too classy to do it, and opposing fans are treated with such respect that they feel the need to reciprocate.

Game 6 of the 1986 National League Championship Series between the New York Mets and the Houston Astros. The Mets than rally to score three runs in the 16th inning to take a 7-4 lead. This time it appears that the Mets have put the game away. But the Astros refuse to go away, they rally to score two runs and have the tying and winning runs on base. Jesse Orosco now in his third inning of relief appears to be exhausted, but reaches back to strike out Kevin Bass to win the game. After 4 hours and 42 minutes and 16 innings the Mets avoid a potential game seven against Mike Scott and win the National League pennant.
