    Help 4 Help!
Well hello there SBR, i need some help with sports betting....=\

I'll break it down real quick(or long), I want to learn pretty much the basics, mainly basketball, football, and baseball. Which ever one you could help and feel you are quite strong at, if not all, would be greatly appreciated. I will offer a % of my winnings, and if you play Poker, i can help you with that, since that is pretty much my thing, but i want to get in to sports betting as well.

I do understand I could just browse, and look for top cappers to post their picks for whichever sport i'm looking to bet, but i sorta wanna get an understanding for myself, and to learn how to pick, when to spot bad lines etc.

I think I know some of the basic stuff, like basic line shopping, searching around for the worse line, or worse local book, etc. And I do understand that a lot of handicapping is involved and basic knowledge of the sport/game and teams.... I'm sure i'm missing something but i've listed enough :-)

But with that said, if you are willing send me a PM, leave a comment, or ask me for my aim/msn, i think its even listed in my profile, so you can just send me an IM.

Also if you have any recommendations please list it/them I.E books, articles, posts, cappers, sites, etc

Thanks a ton for reading this, and thanks even more for any help provided!

    -Bruno

I would have to say proper money management is a major step on the road to becoming successful. Search the forum for money management topics and search the net, there is a plethora of information on the subject. Begin with this and you will have won more than half the battle.

    Good Luck!

Thanks, but yes, i know that to an extent lol, although i don't use the standard 1-2% of my BR, but i can't really ever have a crash, or a risk of ruin, so i can afford to play a bit higher. But as a poker player, it's the same thing, sports betting not much different.
