Guys.....the LHJMQ is junior hockey.....no paychecks, no nothing. The majority of the players are under the age of 18.
The WHL, OHL and LHJMQ sends TONNES of players to the NHL, but this hockey is very much amateur.

Sport-Études is a daily program that covers the length of the school year. Student athletes attend school in the morning and come to the Soccerplexe Catalogna for afternoon training. Players are selected in the program according to certain criterias. Lac St-Louis is associated with three schools: John Rennie High School, École Secondaire des Sources and Collège de Montréal

Two steps???? LHJMQ, then if your a TOP player you get drafted and go to the ECHL or AHL immediately. Remember, alot more players these days pass on Junior Hockey, and play College Hockey instead, more exposure. If not, then you could play in the CHL, SPHL or IHL.......from there if you light it up, you could potentially get to the ECHL.......if you light it up there and are a top 10 player in the league.......you could get the AHL.......then if you absolutely light it up......possibly NHL.

Basically, if your not a top 10-20 player in the LHJMQ in any given year, your road is next near impossible.
Keep going after your dreams man, but you have alot of work to do from playing on a club team.

Sports Etudes exists here for high school/CEGEP. LHJMQ recruitment age range is 16-20. If you are not still in high school my guess of age is 18-19, first or last your CEGEP. If you are not at least in LHJMQ there is low probability of playing in NHL.

What this means is he is 18 years old or younger. AAA hockey is for Atom, PeeWee, Bantam and Midget aged players with Midget having a max age of 18 years old. Maybe is he a high school dropout from either the province of Alberta, Manitoba or Quebec.

I'm not sure your age....but if your over 18, then your wayy behind the curve. Each team in LHJMQ probably has a handful of skaters above the age of 18, and in many cases they are the meatheads who fight and don't have the skill to advance to the next level.

Rod is a frenchie. Chances are he will never play a game in the "Q" becuase this league drafts players right out of Bantam which I believe has a max age of 15. IF he is 17 or 18 then his time is likely up. Very rare for a kid to start playing major Jr. hockey when he is 18.
