he's probably not worthy of a top 5 or 10 pick but right now Carlina needs a QB. there defense is already one of the best. best route imo is to trade down and take cam newton.

More like a Vince Young but yes, that story doesn't end well.

An immature guy that's not very smart, a guy that took snaps in the shotgun in college for a big program, relied too much on his legs, and never really dominated in the passing game. If anything Vince Young was a better college passer and is a better natural leader.

IMO Vince Young was a better prospect than Cam Newton and Vince Young had better coaching. Vince Young had some success in the NFL but overall was a failure, the odds are Cam Newton won't even be as good as Vince Young.

Just look at the first thing a scrambler says when he gets drafted
" I want to go to disney world"

Then look at what a guy like Matt Ryan says when he gets drafted
" I'm ready to go to work"

That's a bogus argument. You get the most excitement from WINNING. You'd be much better off building a winning team than building an "exciting team".

The Phoenix Suns in basketball would score 120 points for their fans with D'Antoni which was real exciting but where did it get them? The Spurs who built a team would win games and they are packing the house in a town not known for basketball.

If you had the chance to draft Tim Tebow ( exciting) mobile, charisma, (most people would say potential) but obvious flaws #1 or Sam Bradford who is a boring immobile pocket passer, not as great in interviews etc. then who do you draft? The choice is clear as day.
