So I went to place a bet tonight. My team was +9.
I clicked confirm or whatever and it said the line had changed (of course not in my favor)
It went to 8.5. So I was thinking oh well, it happens....
Well, aparantely it doesn't. I checked sbrodds and clicked on the spread for that book and it never changed from 9. Been 9 from open to close.
They adjusted it just for me. As a matter of fact it's not 8.5 at any book..
That's bullshit. It's an A+ book too.....

Gotta be bookmaker. Line has changed on me before too, but thank goodness it's never made a difference in whether I won or lost. (From what I can remember, anyway)

I quit using Bookmaker because their software sucked on Blackberry and the line changes were impossible to deal with under those circumstances.

I dont want to give a name because everyone is going to bitch and moan about how great the book is....and they are right. This is my first complaint ever.
My team lost by 17, so it doesn't really matter. I just never thought an A+ book would try to snip half points away from me.

Bookmaker moves the lines both ways. I've seen it get worse and better between the first wager amount, and final confirmation.

re: odds history. I don't know if the line history will update if the line "hiccups".

Some books deal multiple lines and move lines depending on who you are. I've had both Bookmaker and 5dimes move lines on me frequently.

sbrodds could be delayed in updating or off on the number as well... Do the line ever correct on the line service?

Yeah SBR is sometimes delayed or misses moves if they're quick. SBR lines is a great free tool but it won't catch every move.

There is no way you can judge this by using SBR lines. Many times the lines get stuck and don't move....case in point. According to sbr lines St Petes was -2 at 5d about 30 min before tip. When I logged into 5d it was Pick. It stayed -2 on sbr lines and never changed. With that said SBR lines is the best free line service you will find. You have to expect for things to happen every so often.

I wouldn't trust SBRodds as your evidence. It is a great free tool, but I find tons of mistakes on there every day. Just today SBRodds said DSI had the NO/ATL total at 185.5, I go to DSI and it was 184.5, which according to SBRodds line movement for that book, DSI never had it at that number. SBRodds also released all NBA totals for RebateWager at 2:38, when RW never had any totals listed on their site at all until around 4:00.
