Never have I seen Detroit in recent years play this bad. Being out shot like woah. Something like 16-3 or something. Team is total trash right now.

Detroit will likely finish around a 5th or 6th seed in West. Vancouver and Dallas are clearly far superior to Detroit this year. Not really even close.

Says the guy with a Dallas Stars avatar? Please, Detroit will be top 3 at least. Half their squad is hurt including both starting goaltenders and they're doing just fine.

I'm just kidding.....but I do think Detroit is going to have a tougher road this year. The West is unreal tough. I am thrilled with the way the Stars have gone this 1st half. They're for real. After all the success we've had, the past few years were hard to take.

Detroit has had a crazy amount of injuries. If they can just hang tight, things should get a lot easier for them after the break.

Dont know why someone can seriously pick the Wings last night. Did you see their injury list? Its endless. Also when Macdonald you have to know you should fade him

Lakerboy, you know your basketball and football but I'm not too sure you know your hockey. I took Pittsburgh because Detroit was in a very poor situation starting its farm team goaltender and missing Datsyuk and Holmstrom. Pittsburgh closed at -150... What does that tell you? What I love about betting on hockey is that there are tuns of bettors who only know how to bet on underdogs... This works well for people like me who like to play a team in a strong position to win. Hence, Pittsburgh opened as a -145 favorite, then dropped to -130 (this is when I placed my bet) and then went right up to -150 before gametime.
