    Starting p90x this coming sunday
    has anyone else tried this shit out? apparently it gets the job done. kind of looking forward to it to be honest. my question is after your done the 90 days im assuming you just keep repeating the whole process?

    go to the gym with someone who knows what their doing. Much better and u keep at it cause u are going with someone

      and P90x is hard if u arent in shape u wont be able to complete the dvds

        it works... but it will be the hardest workout you have ever done. make sure you get a variety of dumbbells!!! i did the lean program

          i work out at home, i run the treadmill and lift my own weights every other day. all my buddies quit going to the gym due to school/work. so i pretty much do my own thing as of right now. i think p90x wouldnt hurt to help, especially since i just downloaded it for free.

            I got a personel trainer.We have a trainer and badass weight room at work,so i just work out there.I got P90x but I skipped days and half assed it.I had a friend complete it and it worked for him.I like having a trainer better,I need someone to keep me motivated and push me.

                ok u aren't some fat slob looking to "lose weight" doing this. If u workout regularly then u should be fine, but it is hard and make sure u go at your own pace. Don't try and keep up with the simps on the dvd. And a piece of advice u should consider viewing it on mute as Tony Horton is annoying as hell

                        The program IS tough. Some people need motivation in the form of a trainer. If you are a self motivating type, it is a very good tool to get to the shape you want to be in.

                          P90X is the real deal. The workouts are a copy from a Navy Seals workout program. Just stick with it and you'll get results for sure. No Pain No Gain!

                            As said you have to have motivation to see this all the way through. Starting it is the easy part. Seeing it through is a different story unless you're the self motivating type.

                                the average special forces guy is just a average guy in apparently average build but looks like they work out. they aren't meat heads.

                                You can always spot a SF soldier by the callous on there trigger finger. just a fyi.

                                        I love the workout. I completed my first 90 day cycle in December, and saw great results. I'd start another 90 day cycle if I weren't leaving for Afghanistan in a couple months.

                                        Hardest part is to keep going, and not skip a day. You may think a day like Yoga is an easy day, whereas IMO that's easily the hardest day of them all. Gotta keep going.

                                        GL, stick with it, enjoy the results come summer time.

                                          just a fad with too many explosive movements. Lifting the weights slow is much better. Even chuck norris is 100 percent highly against p 90 x.

                                          I know a few that do it and they are all injured from it

                                            lol the workouts are not a copy of any current navy seals routine. They got tired of sending troops into action injured. They no longer do any of that crap

                                              Yoga is ******* horrible, its boring and its the longest one. Very difficult to get up for this

                                                        I've seen guys doing this in the gym with the dvd in their laptops. i couldn't tell you how well it works, all i know is that the one guy was fat. and he's still fat. and the other guy was a shrimp. and he's still a shrimp.

                                                          I'm sure this is true. But isn't this true of almost any workout program? If you work your ass off, it will work, if you don't, it won't. Knowing what to do is very important, but being motivated and getting your ass in the gym every day is the hardest part of it all.

                                                                  just ordered the p90x resistant bands and set my diet plan starting sunday. should get the bands the on my 3rd day into this.


                                                                  gonna use bands and weights, i dont have enough dumbells weight sizes, which is why i decided to get the bands.

                                                                    get adjustable dumbells, as more companies manufacture them the price has come down.

                                                                    yoga sucks but plyometrics kicks my ass on a pretty continuous basis........
