Some help please?

I tried to post this in another section but it won't let me unfortunately.

I am looking for the best hedging strategy for the plays I made today.

I have a Teaser of Packers (W) and Patriots -2.5 2,200 to win 2,000 that I wouldn't try to hedge but would possibly try to middle.

Then the important one is

3 Team Parlay

2H Pittsburgh -5 -120 (W)
1H Green Bay +1/2 -120 (W)
Open Spot

1,000 to win 5,416 (with the open spot being assumed at -110) but I can put any play in there.

What would be the best possible hedging strategy on this bigger play? Do I put a -110 in and then bet -110 the other way? Do I put a ML in? I am considering hedging that two team teaser only if there is a really good option but the 3 team parlay I feel I need to tease (Because they wouldn't let me fill it with 2nd Half Packers +3 what a joke)

Also what would be the amounts to do to find out the best $ strategy?

I was going to use the freeplay calculator but realized it won't work because there is 1000 of real $ risked instead of freeplay money.

Also is it better to do a -105 and -115 vs two -110 if I do it that way? Having a tough time figuring out the perfect strategy.

With the picks I make every day I do that, but I had stronger opinions about these games today than I had in a very long time. Something about todays matchups really gave me a good feeling.

But yes you are 100% right I shouldn't do it that way.

The one question I have (maybe for another time) I thought the taking two team teaser where you take 1 team from +2.5 to +8.5 and the other -8.5 to -2.5 were +EV bets shown over time. I read this in a book a long time ago but I'm not sure if that info is correct.

In a parlay with an open slot, you get to make your last pick at any time whether it be later than day or you could wait 6 months until you find the bet that you like to fill it with.

So its exactly like a 3 game parlay except you don't have to pick the last game until whenever you feel comfortable.
