"no recording devices of any kind are permitted to be in use in the coaches' booth, on the field, or in the locker room DURING THE GAME."

First and foremost this about gambling. I've made a lot of money on Pitt, Balt., NE, GB, ATl. whoever. I just have a feel for what I see, no more and no less. I just happen to think they have a Team that right now is head and shoulders above any other Team still alive in the playoffs. They also happen to have one of the youngest Teams in the NFL, with more draft picks coming and barring an injury to Brady, this Team looks pretty much unstoppable. Good luck to the rest of the NFL. JMO on it.

If you're going to quote the rule, at least get it right.

From the NFL's Constitution & Bylaws (article 9): "Any use by any club at any time, from the start to the finish of any game in which such club is a participant, of any communications or information-gathering equipment, other than Polaroid-type cameras or field telephones, shall be prohibited, including without limitation videotape machines, telephone tapping, or bugging devices, or any other form of electronic devices that might aid a team during the playing of a game."

Did the videotaping aid them during the game they were taping in? No, of course not, because there just isn't enough time to analyze all of the footage, figure out what plays they call for and come up w a defense to stop it during a 15 minute halftime.

Every team gets all NFL Films footage immediately after the game. Every single camera angle. Are we going to pretend that a team can't use that to get signals too?

Bottom line is, taping signals is not against the rules. It wouldn't be hard for them to add a "do not steal signals" rule, would it? Its just not there. That's all there is to it
