How accurate is SBR odds?

Just curious what you guys think.

How accurate is the sbr odds info box, specifcally the % of public betting on a specific team? And where do they get this info to report?

The reason for my inquiry is to decide if there really is RLM on certain plays. If the % isn't accurate, then obviously the RLM could potentially also be inaccurate.

And are books required to divulge that information?

The percentages are from 5Dimes and based on number of bets - not dollars bet on both sides of the wager.

As for the current setup, do you think we could start getting the ncaab lines late night for the next day's games. I think we got that in other years and, so far , at least once that I recall this year - maybe more. But lately it hasn't been up. I'd love to see that available if possible.

Truth be told. It's not very good. As stated in this thread the info is derived from 5dimes therefore doesn't portray truly accurate odds and line movement on the open market. I stopped using sbr odds a long time ago. Plenty of more reliable sites out there. Even free services. I am looking forward to the updated sbr odds page. Hopefully it will be as good as they say it's gonna be. Would be great if we could get all the info we need right here at sbr.
