What amazes me even more about that "sport" is that in most european based books, they do have lines for them. Haha. Just to make it clear DDD, you know I'm a soccer lover, yet I do enjoy watching football games as well, unlike haters who cannot live with more than one sport in their lives

and while american football is also entertaining to watch i feel like stabbing myself in the eye sometimes

a 60 minute game that takes 180 minutes to finish obviously has a lot of dead periods and it gets frustrating every time, the action is only a few seconds at a time and then you get the huge gaps during timeouts, commercial breaks, punts etc that make you feel like your life is wasting away

Why can't people just understand that people like what they like, whatever sport it is and wherever they come from. I can understand the majority of Americans not liking "soccer", I disagree and love it, so big ******* deal I dont need to spend 5 hours a day opening a million threads on here.

If you don't like it, don't watch it - I know MANY Euro posters on various boards who absolutely DESPISE all things American sports, yet I dont see thread after thread talking about it and they dont seem to feel the need to post up everywhere that their opinion is gospel and nothing else matters.

I'm someone that can pretty much watch any sport and I remember I watched darts one time thinking it would be semi-interesting/entertaining.........nope not even ******* close. It's just two 50+ year old guys taking turns throwing at a dartboard. Darts is fun to play......for like a half hour when you have nothing to else to do. Not sure how Europeans watch darts, I mean they talk smack about baseball being boring(which I can agree with), but DARTS, are they ******* serious....

I think darts is only popular in the UK and to an extent in Holland. It is a good sport for live betting/trading but I have to say I am not really a fan.

There are many other "sports" which are not popular in the US that attract way bigger followings than the US sports. Quite why this is, I am not sure but it is just one of those cultural things.

I can't quite work out why college football and college basketball are as big as they are in the US for example. The vast majority of players are miles away from NFL/NBA standard.
