If you knew someone placed 1 million bet on New England...would you bet on NE?
what would you do? would you bet it? you have no on the game?
would you bet the max limit?

Everyone I know is a complete idiot. They are the kind who would bet NE every week for the whole season.
And these fukkers still come out ahead!

No. It really all depends on how much a million is to that person. Blindly following no matter how much money is no good.

for example if you knew billy/phil placed money on the colts during the super bowl.
I would think a person would follow
as for myself I would not follow

Well does this person constantly kill the books? I find it hard to imagine, if he did that he could get a million down. Like I mentioned no blind follow.

He could have multiple bets out that amount to 1 million. Also there are plenty of big timers who place 100,000 dollar bets on nba games and play the entire board.

I would not. I'm sure a lot of 1 million $ wagers are placed privately and I'm sure those people on the whole are not winners. There's not enough information to determine if this bet is +EV just by looking at the amount.

on his own team? in that case, if books don't move the line accordingly, then it's probably irrelevant and he just wants some additional action on the game.

Wasn't he the one who placed large wagers on the side he didnt like to get people on that side, then buy back the side he wants at a better number?

No but I may put a few dollars on NE because the Jets are chirping alot leading up to this game to piss Brady off even more

billy has enough outs to manipulate lines for middles. haven't heard from anyone in vegas that knows bw that he has taken a big position on pats this week. the posted number doesn't seem like one he would get enough movement on........unless he really likes ne to cover and wants straight action on game.
i do expect brady to take a few downfield shots on cromartie if he is playing deep off the line. the safety from pitt a few years ago was yapping all week about brady and he made a point of burning him a few times.

well if it was billy gates or phil green(rich guy from scotland) then i doubt they would care about the million. So billy/phil isnt a good example
