sort of.

his brother has gone missing. was reported last friday and he did play in the game against the chiefs.

but i believe last night the police called off the seach for his brother.

harbaugh did not sound optimistic on the radio about his return to the team.

Well he jumped in a river....he's dead. Sounds like his brother was a deadbeat and not exactly of high moral fiber. If he played last week....he will definitely play this week.

He did play in a game the day after his brother went missing, he said "My brother would want me to play." Gotta believe his is playing this one as well.

yeah when he jumped in the river the police were chasing after him. apparently also had problems with drug & alcohol, and a history of theft.

It was sad watching Ed Reed get a little choked up accepting the game ball after the KC win.

He will play and probably dominate like he always does.

He will play and with sore ribs probably would not have practiced anyway.
Will dedicate the game to his brother.
Guess that is the only way to play emotionally and deal with the situation.

you could say that. he was suspected of driving another car off the road and reported to be in a stolen vehicle.

he took off as they were cuffing him. so if those cops had just gotten those cuffs on, this would be a whole different story.

Reed will play. As mentioned before, he probably would have sat out or had limited practice this week anyway. It seems that many great players have had epic games during times of personal tragedy or illness. I wouldn't be surprised if Reed has a huge day.
