Brandon said that he's completely willing to pay market value to get Michigan the best coach possible. Traditionally Michigan has paid coaches less, because hey, it's one of the best coaching jobs in the world, but he really wants to make the program elite again.

The top 2 reasons that Miles is staying at LSU:

#1 John Chavis turned down an offer to be defensive coordinator at Texas with his good friend Mack Brown.
He turned it down because Les already told Chavis that he was staying at LSU and not going to Michigan.

#2 LSU is absolutely loaded with talent on both sides of the ball. They have a stud quarterback who will be taking over Jefferson's starting job next season. This will put LSU in excellent position to contend for a National Championship.

First of all, LSU would never take Bo Pelini back as a head coach, because he cannot recruit in the south.

Miles has become a really great coach. The fake fg against Florida won the game for lsu. His team blocks and tackles as good as anyone. He gets a few skilled players and who knows?
