So do the books. Pavy tell me why you like the gunners besides Chelsea's erratic form lately. They own Arsenal the last number of years and are much more physical. I would love to see my gooners win but i am doubtful.

isnt the under a better pick than a draw? do you see this game going 2-2? 1-1 and scoreless sound much more plausible

Well if you watched the last time they both met this season you'd know Arsenal played very well and were unlucky to lose 2-0. Same thing can be said about the United game but they STILL lost. Whether you think Chelsea will score, get dominated and still win is up to your money no one in this forum can tell you the right answer.

It's like a regular season game between Lakers and Boston. It can go either way.

Chelsea has scored just 4 goals in their last 7 Premier league games the last 2 months. They have only beaten Fulham in that span and lost to Liverpool, Sunderland and Birmingham whereas drew with Newcastle, Everton & Fulham. Arsenal are more creative up front and can create more scoring chances at home. I always base my bets on team's current form and not past years results and I think Arsenal are in a much better form than Chelsea this time of the year.

this is my strategy on this match. With Lampard back and Drogba recovered i think chelsea take this. Drogba has score 13 goals in last 11 matches against gunners. i bet correct score 0-1 0-2 1-2 1-3

                                                    Historical Info:
Chelsea have won the last 6 games and only lost once to Arsenal since 2005
Chelsea’s run of poor form this year has been their worst since 2000
Last 6 Chelsea wins have produced 2 “Unders” (both 2-0) and 4 “Overs”

                                                    Last game analysis:
                                                    Manchester United 1 – Arsenal 0

Crafty header from Park sends United home with the points. Not much to write home about in this one. Wenger blamed the pitch, when his players really did little to put United under pressure. Arsenal had 54% of the possession, but only turned that into 5 shots on goal. United played 5 in the Midfield from the start with Rooney working alone up top. This allowed United to contain Arsenals buildup play and limit their time in the box. Park and Nani were out wide which allowed United to counter quickly at times, but neither team really got going offensively. This 5 man midfield frustrated Arsenal and during the early part of the game they seemed to play only long balls towards Chamakh. This was also a product of their talismanic midfielder Cesc Fabergas being sat on the bench. When Fabergas did come on in the 64’ Arsenal were 1 down and needed to move the play forward quickly. Overall Arsenal were frustrated and bottled up through the middle and had little ideas out wide. Andre Ashavin was awful; he has been a major disappointment this season. I would have rather seen Walcott from the start.

                                                    Tottenham Hotspur 1 – Chelsea 1

Chelsea came for a win at the lane. They opened the game playing their customary 4-3-3 with Malouda-Anelka-Kalou across the top to begin. Drogba came on at halftime and changed the game. This 4-3-3 is great for going forward, but sometimes leaves Chelsea vulnerable especially to wide players. Tottenham have two great wingers in Bale and Lennon. Pavlyuchenko’s goal came from a wide position, but it was Defoe supplying the ball rather than a winger. Really criminal defending from Chelsea as both Terry and Mikel watched Pav strike low to the left-hand side out of Cech’s reach. Drogba equalized after halftime on a shot that Gomes really should have done better with. It was struck right at him with loads of pace, but the Brazilian will be disappointed. Chelsea continued to have much of the possession and ended the game with 62%. But they only managed to get 6 shots in the box with 3 on target including Drogba’s goal. Tottenham managed to get 6 shots inside the box as well. The last turn of the dice came in 91’ as Gomes gave away a penalty diving into Ramirez after the ball had gone. Gomes redeemed himself and saved Drogba’s tame strike from the spot. Lampard should have taken the pen, he has a great record. Overall lots of Chelsea possession and it took a bad error for them to score. They had other chances, but the final ball left much to be desired.

                                                    Today’s Game:
I will be backing Arsenal on the PK. Wenger will likely start Walcott over Arshavin which should improve Arsenals width. This will also give Ashley “Best left-back in the World” Cole a lot to think about with Walcott and Sagna charging up the flank. The most important aspect of this game will be the midfield and I think Arsenal’s is better. Chelsea will not play 5 across midfield like United thus allowing Arsenal to have the #’s advantage. Fabergas will also play a huge role with his passing and touch. Lampard will start his 1st game since August and is a big boost, but it won’t be enough as Arsenal nick this one

Chelsea is due to score some goals. I see 2-1 Chelsea here.

There's a few stats out there for some to ponder....Chelsea has only lost 2 of their last 18 matches against Arsenal in all competitions including winning 5 straight. Also Chelsea has scored 11 goals in their last 4 games against Arsenal, only conceding one. Here's another alarming stat if you believe in Arsenal...in their last 11 matches against Manchester United and Chelsea in all competitions they're an alarming 0-10-1 giving up 23 goals while only scoring 5.

So if you're a stat player it reads Chelsea and the Over...but hey..that's why they call it gambling.

Chelsea isn't "due" but they have owned Arsenal. Healthy Drogba. That's who I'd take for a side.

On the other side, Chelsea brings back Frank Lampard (match fitness?) and Anelka hasn't scored in 5 games. I'm not a big John Terry fan, as he's like Rio Ferdinand...slow and getting slower. Chelsea is without...Alex (leg), Benayoun (Achilles), Zhirkov (calf)...while Arsenal is without...Almunia & Gibbs (both ankle), Frimpong (knee), Vermaelen (Achilles)
