No going for the TD is NOT the right play once you get to 30 seconds. When you are at the 15 yd line on 2nd down with 30 sec the correct play is to kick the FG an attempt the onside JUST LIKE THE ANNOUNCERS SAID.

this. for anyone to stand there and brag because they put money on the titans is hilarious. With two subpar teams you were putting your money on Kerry Collins over Peyton Manning. The right play at the end of the game was as soon as they got to the 30, with about 1:30 left on the clock or thereabouts, you kick the field goal then. Get yourself within a score and see if you get the onside. You were gonna have to have it anyway. Instead, they dinked, and dunked until the clock was gone completed a pass down to the 4, spiked it and at that point had 3rd and 4th down with 10 and 4 seconds left. At that point, the game is OVER. Wouldn't have mattered even if they'd scored on 3rd down, and recovered the onside kick... game woulda been over.

Wonder what Fisher woulda said if Johnson had blown a knee out on the 3rd or 4th down play going for a meaningless TD in a game that is lost...
