MW finally admits Royal(brain surgeon alert ) is in trouble and yet the dude leaves his own sportsbook, majorbetting, at royal for Tej to manage and hold his players money and know their personal information. How bizzare is that?

I'm serious that a few of these sites should be graduate school studies on how to destroy a business through stupidity and greed.

Do the folks that promote Royal, Rich Coast, ect., and other bottom feeders actually consinder the long term affects?

So I have a serious question:
If you guys owned a player site would you care who advertised or would you do it Raiders/MW style and send players to dangerous books and basically grab the cash any way you could? Or is it just business? I seriously want to know.

Yes I would turn the money down, if it came from untrusted source.

Easy to say though, might be harder to live by the rule. I have been thinking about setting up a small scale site for Finnish speaking punters so my integrity might be eventually tested. But then again, my site will never be my main source of income.

We would love to do a SBR Euro.com if the right partner came along.

Raiders no. You posted here 20 posts that RichCoast was a buy and not a bailout...remember? I'm not going to play word symantecs with you. Everyone knows Royal is dead and just waiting for the right bailout including you so no, no webster definition word games with you today.

Why so paranoid today? All I'm saying is that no one is getting screwed and that's the truth. You finally realize this and you're the one trying to spin this.

Maybe we need to dub this place AFZ so Raiders gets the picture. If he wants to post on behalf of his books he should have to sign his posts as a rep for the book.

The NoJuice thread was funny... Raiders was obviously worried about the impression his players will get, hence the 40 posts.

                  Great question.

For both business and personal reasons, I would be very careful who I let advertise.

Business - because I believe I could build a more stable, long-term, satisfying business on a foundation of trust and integrity.

Personal - because I couldn't sleep at night being a shill/tout. I am the opposite of whatever goes on inside shills/touts. My natural instinct is to help people and I have a very active conscience. We only get one life and I'd rather not go through it conflicted. Money is important but it's not that important.

Maybe if I was in a Jean Valjean situation with a family starving for a loaf of bread, I might change my tune but short of that, it is an easy call for me. Peace of mind. Play it straight.

Speaking from personal experience, if you run a website as a hobby and/or with a long term plan and have other sources of income, it is easy enough to turn down offers from second tier books.

I guess it would be different if this was your only source of income.

I also believe the amount of money offered may make the difference. I don't believe in people and distrust them when they say I would never do "this" for all the gold in the world.

In the end it comes down to at what price any of us is willing to sell its integrity. I doubt Royal are willing to pay me 1.000.000 dollars to say they are very good, though.

                      500.000 maybe ?

John- Your first <question> is rhetorical. No one wants to take on a scam book.

The other post about bailout/sale is silly. Who cares what you call it if players get paid. In the end it's exactly the same thing.

John- Are you a scammer because you pumped books and took big money from them and partied with them only to see the players get screwed? Of course that wasn't your intentions but that can also be spun.

I turned down $400/month from Royal and $300/month from BCN when I was at OGD. I can't see why anyone would take something that they didn't believe in.

I may have to rethink my earlier statements. John calls Roberto a scammer yet he took a huge amount of money for hanging a TOW banner here at SBR.

I would take on all books, charge them a hefty price, but use that money to insure player balances. But don't take this post too seriously; I haven't really thought much about it.

The insurance programs that a few sites do are more of gimmicks. To do one right you would need to escrow an amount of cash in a irrevocable trust, enough cash to cover the total liabilities. Announcing you are now an insurance company opens up regulation of all sorts in every country. Small sites can throw it out as a come on, but if you start talking about insuring 10,000+ players you just cant give your word.
