Are Chihuahuas dangerous?

I had somebody just tell me tonight that chihuahuas are mean, and can be protect dogs. He is trying to tell me that they can be guard dogs and bite the ankles from behind and hurt you because you cannot kick backwards.

I am calling bullshit. No way that those fukking chihuahas can be guard dogs or be vicious. No way can they be home pertectors.

Lets hear anybody who has any personal knowledge with these attack killer chihuahas.

I had heard they can be temperamental. I've had mine for a long time, he is as good a dog as you could ask for. He only barks when someone is coming up the driveway

Every dog is different man. Breeding is only a small part of a dog, the way a dog is raised has alot to do with it. I've seen pit bulls that will go run & hide.

I have absolutely no experience with other chihuahuas. I've heard people say they are mean & will pinch the shit out of you, but mine has never offered to bite anyone. He is a great dog
