I think safety refers in whenever you are going to get your funds or you are only going to get scammed.

Example: "oh sorry sir your deposit was never approved so we are going to cancel all your bets"

Credit Card deposit which was already approved and book isued a refund the same day you won.

Adding to my story, I have read horror stories hear in SBR, regarding some guy called Tony at 5dimes canceling wagers after they won, telling people he will keep his money and will not pay them a single cent etc etc etc. I you ever read what that guys says, you will not feel very secured IMO.

IMO, none of us really know how safe any of these books are....

look no farther than WSEX and Cascade for proof of that !

It's all based on reputation not bank statements we can see.

I like books that transfer with others....means their peers trust them to me.

Don't play iffy stuff with GOD.

Appreciate the rankings. See as everyone is giving feedback I'll toss a little in too:

Matchbook is not a sportsbook so its hard to rank them with others as the comparison basis are so much different. Bet Jamaica and the Greek are so incredibly different sharing ownership a few minor characteristics and similar lines - of course in addition to limits being different their point but options are unique, teaser odds/options alternate point spreads software etc are different. If safety of funds is only a partial consideration I think would be better separated as they're not the same.

Rankings are also subjective but for me ranking 5Dimes higher than Bookmaker is a borderline sin though I'll give that 5 Dimes is one of the best options though for recreational players so I guess depending on perspective that might work.

I think Bodog.COM (not .co.uk) should move ahead of SIA, BetOnline and BetPhoenix (personally I'd order those Bodog, BetOnline, SIA, Bet Phoenix) For well over a year now I've been cashing out of Bodog every few weeks because my balance runs high there. Checks come in 3-5 days most the time and all but a couple times were drawn on major banks. I had one bounce but I can live with that.. I notified them one morning of it, the next afternoon I had a new check. Besides that there support is good and they are assessable. I've never understood too much the hate, I think a lot is residual from past payout delays which they worked through fine and have been recovered long enough. One of best options for recreational players imo and still an awesome site for picking off half time bets as well.

BetOnline is decent.. SIA LOLZ really as soon as you win a little are more or less gone, but still okay I suppose haven't used them too much. BetPhoenix perhaps just limited experiences but I had a bitch of a time getting paid twice from them (I don't use them enough to need to cash out often) each several months apart. Haven't found support to be good either.

Intertops I think has improved a lot. I don't use them but do get good feedback on them and have one friends (small timer but smart enough to win a little) who loves them. They might also deserve a few notches up.

          EasyStreet seems okay too.

Ultimately most decent books on this list regardless so order doesn't matter a lot, but that's my feedback fwiw.

Thank you for the intelligent response..........well done.

Glad the rankings are being discussed, which is a huge positive for every punter in the U.S..............and abroad for that matter.

Others, at one time or another.

Played with 200+ books in lifetime.

                  GOOD DAY,

Fishy you are defintiely playing favorites with Heritage.

No way in hell they should be ranked higher then Bookmaker.

And i'd trust my funds with 5dimes over Heritage any day.

                      I respectively disagree ........

As far as comparing BOOKMAKER to HERITAGE, they are #4 and #5.........can't get any closer.

WSEX has already paid many people and everyone will get paid. Hardly comparable to fuckin' Cascade. That shit still makes my blood boil.
