Tonight is scary with Cliff Lee pitching. He's insane in the playoffs, I heard a stat on the radio and correct me if I am wrong.............. there have been 8 games in post season MLB history where a pitcher struck out 10 men and walked 1 batter. Cliff Lee has 4/8 games. Think about the thousands of playoff games played if this is correct. Also his ERA is sick but the Yankees are the Yankees and their usually only is value playing against them.

Opinion: Is tonight's line a reasonable one? Are the books begging for people to take either side?
Under is the logical play but both teams can light the scoreboard up if the wheels start to wobble for either pitcher. They can put this game over in 4 innings or this game could go 2 - 1?

Hard time picking a side here but leaning towards Texas, trying to figure out if Cliff is going to pitch like this forever? If so, cash the ticket and count the change.

WFAN in New York explained it best-----if CC threw a bullpen session yesterday-----it meant---CC would start game 5.

If CC just had a long throwing session---he would go in game 4.

He had a bullpen session---Girardi confirmed to reporter afterward----CC in game 5---guaranteed. Burnett in game 4.

No need to change rest patterns down 2-1 imo. Down 3-1 is another matter.

Giradi says no. CC has not been good in his last 5 starts, ERA over 5. Don't think you want to pitch a pitcher on short rest when he's not throwing good.
