#2yeah, i wish he'd really stop that. it is getting annoying as hell. i've got pop up blocker and each time i get that dumb poker email that i care nothing about, i have to click like 9 buttons to remove it. at first it was 1 time each 2 weeks.. now it's a daily thing..
and the worst part is that i have PM's off and i am STILL getting em.. jesus christ.
pls take me off this poker list............. nowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.
thank you..Comment -

#8Lou,
It might be a win win if you guys posted the days of the week and times on the front page for all that wanted to play ,to see.Might even generate some new business .
The messages are a bit annoying if you do not care, but I realize that is the policy as of now.
If you put the message near the top and reconfigured the recommended A+ sites their is plenty of room.A colored box like the "download NFL schedule" box would be ideal.
You could also put it on the forum page between the SBR logo and our personal info.
Just a thought.
Thanks.Comment -

#10For those that are annoyed by PM's, how in the world do you handle something that is actually devastating when it comes your way??
WOW
If 7-10 extra PMs a week really bothers you alot, I would suggest you seek professional help from a qualified shrink.Comment -

#13i can understand some like this, but for guys like myself and many others who dont want to be bothered about poker games, why send it to us??
why not have an option? put a link on top of the forum and say if you want to be a part of this to have them send PM'S to you.. if you are not on this list, leave us alone
it really is annoying for me cause i have to press like 9 buttons to get rid of it, and now it's each day and i don't give a shit about poker tournaments etc....
take me off this list please. thanksComment -

Seriously guys, get some bloody perspective in your lives. PT has turned into an even bigger cesspool than normal since football started and now people are bitching about a few PMs? For every one of you who are devastated by the 6 seconds it takes to delete them, there would be 2 more people starting a thread bitching because they kept missing poker tournaments if the PMs didn't exist. The opt-out list is a great idea, but whether or not SBR implements it, it really shouldn't be that big of an annoyance in your daily lives. If so, I'll gladly trade spots with you in a second.Comment -

As for Lou, I don't think you need to worry about him.
You think he personally PMs everyone? It takes almost no time to send a message to everyone about poker. I'm sure SBR could have any mod do it and it's not like it would be an extra burden on them. Lou happens to be around a lot so he can do it.[quote=jjgold;5683305]I win again like usual
