Yep, been tough sailing for the Vols. I really like Dooley and think if he is given time, the program will turn back around to a consistent 9-10 win a season team and being in the national championship hunt from time to time. So I'm guessing from the responses that A) it's expected B) it's not considered "in bad taste" for lack of better term to blatantly and openly have a team you are for?

This is the first board of this type I've ever been on and didn't want to show poor etiquette

I always cheer for my teams. I just dont usually bet on the games as I feel that I am slightly biased either one way or the other. Good topic though!

RLM, being fans is what got us into this thing were in. I dont care what anyone says, before we were gambling, we were fans of the sport. Nothing will ever take that away. We all have a few teams we root for & without that this would all mean jack shit

Huge Alabama football and basketball fan (keep up with the rest of the sports too)
Big Titans fan
Pretty big, though not huge, fan of the Braves
Keep up with the Preds quite a bit as well

Guess it might be kinda obvious what region of the country I come from....

I'm drawing a blank on your Avatar... my only guess is a young Miles Davis but I'm pretty sure it's not him. As far as my favorite sports team goes, I have none. None at all. I only have favorite MMA fighters. Ironically, when I first started gambling online it was purely to bet on MMA as I considered myself an expert. Now, I bet on all the other sports much more than MMA and I've realized how biased I am with MMA. That being said... Cain Velasquez is going KO Brock Lesnar on October 23rd! I'm telling everyone this because I'm an expert when it comes to MMA! That and I like Cain more than Brock which is probably the real reason why I'm picking him.

It’s a forum, it’s the internet, you could be friggin Gandhi and some yayo would tell ya to shout the hell up and eat a sandwich to Christ sake.

You have a favorite team, let those colors fly proudly. Even if you are partial to your team and that allegiance sometimes clouds your perspective it only hurts you. I mean you’re not here selling you picks and anyone that blindly trust someone else’s selections without doing their own research have no-one but themselves to blame if the game loses.

You’ll probably get flamed on regardless of winning or losing but just Z-Boiz up and continue to do what you like with your little piece of the internet pie.

Fly that team flag proud.

I'm not much of a fan. I do follow the Nevada Wolf Pack, and the Bay Area pro teams. But I haven't been a real fan of any team since the LA Rams.
