ok, it depends how many people finish ahead of the prick, and at what units.

The prize pool (it's been 12 grand each week, I believe) gets divided by all the units of people finishing ahead of the prick.

For example, if Prick went 3-1 +2.9 and the people beating him all went 4-0 +5, and there were 25 people doing that, it would simply be 12,000/25.

However, if people beating him finish with different amounts...


group A is +5
group B is +2.9


add up the units of everyone beating the prick (and finishing +, of course), and then divide the 12 grand by that amount of units. That determines the money per units.

Then someone who was +5 would get that number times 5. and so on.

I just did a rough estimation... damn that's a lotta money those people lost on Favre throwing that TD on the final drive... $12,000 divided evenly by 25 people equals a cool $480 per head

That's the best case scenario for everybody. But that is a bad beat going 4-0 and nada changes hands.
