I withstood an epic beatdown Sunday. Went 4-11 in combined NFL/MLB. Down 7 units overall. On the bright side, I grew my bankroll a bit on Saturday's games. I'm going to chip away and try to get it back a little at a time. Not going to succumb to the urge to make it all up with one big lick. I've been down that road before, and it's a sure way to bury yourself. Lots of season left. The worst part about a bad day for me is that I totally let it affect my attitude. I can't "not watch" the games....and when its all going bad....so is my mood. I saw yesterday how it really turns me into a first class prick. I finally realized about 1/2 through the day that I had pretty much ignored my 3 year old daughter, so I made myself get up and go play with her for a while. Still snuck in glances at my disastrous wagers, but did the best I could to not let it ruin hers and my wifes day. I have to remember its surely not their fault that Buffalo sucks ass....or that Wade Phillips is a total tool!! Oh well....I lived to see another week. Gotta survive the storms to see the sun. Opie - same boat here. i had to force myself away from staring at cbs scoreboard to spend time with my family. Took my kids outside to play for awhile but kept my phone in my pocket for the occasional update. I keep telling my wife i dont have a problem. i hear denial is the first sign ..
