When you're winning Gambling makes you feel

All warm and tingly inside like Christmas eve at your parents house, petting your dog by the fire and enjoying the tastiest of treats.
When you're losing it feels like your dog just died.
Sometimes you can feel both of these emotions in the course of a few minutes like I did today during the Bengals game I needed to complete a teaser.
Just my observation.

yes, very true.. but i will say this.. no matter how good the feeling is when you win. it's nowhere as bad as the bad sick feeling you get when you are getting clocked.

When I am winning in gambling, I feel as if it will never end, and that the streak of luck I have been chasing for years FINALLY came to fruition. When the losses come again, those moments of winning stay in my head long enough to make me chase for them again. All in all, gambling and winning are the dopamine in the cerebral cortex of my life.

I actually like when I am down going into late action and need the games, the high is unreal

The thrill of victory is nice but the agony of defeat is why we all do this

Also my van broke down the other day and was pissed so I bet some games and it numbed me and I forgot about the van repairs

Man, the second one of you in this thread who are not very bright. How hard is it to understand what i mean by Christmas Eve? it's so obvious from the context of the comment and the contrast with the opposite feeling that the point becomes crystal clear. Replace Christmas Eve with Hanukkah and the statement still cannot be misinterpreted.
