As I write this, Alabama just lost to South Carolina in what many will say is a Huge upset. From what I saw, the best team won today. Sure, Alabama is a great team with not many holes but they remind me of the NY Giants. They both are strong in the trenches, and have the ability the run the ball which is very important when it comes to playing winning football. But sometimes you have to play a team that requires more than just a strong front and a running game to beat them. Sometimes you have to put up 30+ like Alabama needed to today and like the Giants WILL have to do tomorrow...
"What have you done for me Lately?"
Much like when Alabama beat a soft Florida team last week, the Giants drubbing of the shitty Bears 6 days ago has them OVER VALUED by Vegas this week. This is pretty much what picking winners is all about. Its no big fukkin secret.. Every week there are over and under valued teams just sitting there waiting to be picked off. I'm no expert, although I play one at SBR Forums dot com, but I'm willing to bet that the linesmakers knew South Carolina would cover the seven points they hung six days ago. What they were banking on was square action, which they must have gotten, because even the Great Sam Odom of SBR took the bait. Alabama was over valued thanks to beating a team a week earlier that HAD Timmy Teblow the year BEFORE, no way they should have been a TD favorite on the road against a very good team that matches up perfectly against them. I know, I know, anybody can say this after the fact... but Im telling you there is a situation must like this one that will take place on Sunday. The Houston Texans are at home and match up very well against the Over Valued Giants tomorrow. And what makes this even creepier is when I was watching McElroy hold on to the ball too long and take those sacks it reminded me soo much off that little sissy boy Eli Manning....
The Texans are Battle Tested
-Say what you want about the Colts, but they have the Best QB and edge pass rushers in the league and they beat them... convincingly I might add
-Yeah they should have lost to Redskins on the ROAD, but they pulled it out late. The Redskins are a good team people, if you don't know this yet you soon will..
-They lost to the Cowboys, a team that was in disarray early on but seem to have put things back together. As much as you hate the Cowboys, you cant argue that their defense is one of the best in the league. Much better than the defense they will see on Sunday.
-You probably think the win over the Raiders means nothing, but those guys are rallying behind Gradkowski and will beat some teams in the near future that no one will see coming. The Texans win in Oakland was impressive...
(DE)M.Williams and (WR)A. Johnson were listed as questionable, but its been reported today that they will both play.
Sorry, the Giants ARE NOT as good as you think Pal..
-Where do I begin with this Fraud of a team??
-No one likes the coach
-They beat the Panthers in week one. A QB (Moore) that has been benched was moving the ball for the Panthers and only turnovers helped the G-Men pull away late. Game was much closer than the pregame spread (-9) and final score would indicate.
-What happened when they played a team with a good QB/Offense/Pass Rush?? The Colts pounded their fukkin ass... I think Peyton even whispered into his coaches ear to let Eli get a late TD.. All joking aside, if you have the Giants tomorrow and you seen this game film you would instantly buy out of your wager.. Most forget what happens 2-3 weeks ago.. not me..
-Want in on a little secret???? The Titans aren't very good this year folks... guess what, they beat your Giants at home 29-10. I know the Giants fumbled by the goal line late and had a chance to make this a game, but losing by 19 at home against an over rated team isnt a sign of strength...
-Which bring us to last week... Did you watch the game?? did you see how Cutler and the Bears tried to give the Giants the game about 6 times in the first half and ELI and their "potent"offense would flutter around and then punt the ball back to Lovie Smith's group of misfits..The first half of that game was a fukking Toilet Bowl!!
Cutler's inbred ass is about 1 notch above the prick when it comes to his IQ. He got sacked I think 8 times in the first half!!! Yeah the O-Line sucks, i understand, but after about the 4th one I would either start getting rid of the ball earlier or go kick Mike Martz in the nuts and tell him to run the ball a couple times or call some slant routes...
Anyways, I could go on and on about this game..
-Schaub will not hold on to the ball like Cutler and take sacks, he will be decisive and on point much like Peyton was when he played this joke of a team.
-The Giants only good running back (A.Bradshaw) is a little banged up..(Ankle)
-The Texans will be able to run the ball effectively and slow down one of the Giants only strengths, their pass rush.
-As always, don't go all in, but put a bunch on this one!!!
